Your marketing team are attracting the right audience, but is your platform performing? If not, what can you do about it?
Your website and supporting software systems are an integral tool in your marketing delivery. You need confidence in your systems to support and enable marketing activity, without holding you back.
This is exactly the pain point we tackled for Die Zeit, Germany’s leading newspaper publisher. We built them a robust e-commerce subscription portal and custom landing page system to support their objectives.
Are you confident in your current systems?
With a readership of around two million people, and a high performing marketing team directing high volumes of traffic to the website on a regular basis, the current platform became the limiting factor in the company’s growth and marketing performance.
The fully functioning e-commerce subscription portal (known as Zeit Aboshop) needed to host Zeit’s entire catalogue of products, integrate with their existing APIs and incorporate tracking and analytics.
The team also required a bespoke Content Management System (CMS) that allowed for future expansion and enabled them to manage the day-to-day running and maintenance of the site.
We launched the all new Zeit Aboshop in just six weeks, thanks to our experience in developing outstanding, high-traffic websites, often to tight deadlines.
Do your existing tools support your ambitious objectives?
Since launch, the Aboshop has allowed Zeit to acquire new customers and strengthen its engagement with existing readers. We supported the system with a customisable landing page system that can be dynamically linked to products and subscriptions.
Zeit’s marketing team can now plan, launch and execute campaigns with confidence, knowing their website and e-commerce system can support peaks in traffic and usage.
Our new shop was the first project Thought Quarter developed for us and I am delighted that we have found an experienced agency who understands our requirements and can be trusted to deliver outstanding results on time and on budget.Alexander Holm, Head of Online Marketing and Customer Analytics
Alongside the ambitious build project, Die Zeit was looking for a software development agency with the skills and experience to become its outsourced digital resource. We continue to support Die Zeit with ongoing live support and working together to discover new projects to further support the company’s growth.
